How absolute is your right to your property? The concept of private property is the underlying basis of our personal freedom, so when our government expands its countervailing right to take property for the "public good," it should be of primary concern to freedom loving people. As the definition of public good expands to the point where your private land being able to generate higher taxes when it's used by a private company (hard to imagine when that's not true!), then there should be extreme consternation.
